Special Session Talking Points
Call your State Senator and Assembly Member and tell them: - These cuts will totally wreck quality of care;
- They will return persons with developmental disabilities to conditions that have not been seen in 40 years
- They will destroy/badly undermine the ability of our chapter to do business with the financial community, meet payroll, pay vendors, operate;
- In many instances the State will be required to take over the operation of community programs at an INCREASED cost;
- I am your constituent. I vote. I will remember what you did or didn’t do to reject the Governor’s action.
- Ask your legislator to send a letter to their leadership demanding that these cuts be rejected.
