Blanche Fierstein Scholarship
Scholarship Helps Students Pursuing Advanced Degrees in Special Education
The Blanche Fierstein Scholarship was established in 2011 in honor of beloved AHRC Board Member Blanche Fierstein. Read more about Blanche Fierstein. The Scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, is granted annually to people pursuing an advanced degree in special education and is awarded annually to a person pursuing an advanced degree related to special education.
Who is Eligible?
• Persons enrolled in college or university in Nassau County pursuing an advanced Degree in special education.
• Employees of AHRC Nassau who have been employed for a minimum of one (1) year pursuing an advanced degree in special education.
• AHRC Nassau Lifetime Members (primary membership) pursuing an advanced degree in special education. Not a Lifetime Member? Become one by clicking here.
