Tuesday & Wednesday Evening Recreation

Evening Recreation is offered at the United Methodist Church in Hempstead on Tuesdays and at Church of the Advent in Westbury on Wednesdays from 6:00pm – 8:00pm September – June. 

Here adults, 21yrs. and older have the opportunity to play Bingo, do a craft project or play basketball.  Recreation Counselors are there to facilitate the activities.  From January to April the AHRC Starz Special Olympic Basketball team trains for competition with Certified Coaches.
