Membership

AHRC Nassau is a not-for-profit member-based organization whose strength has always been in its members. Our membership numbering over 9,000 is vital to our ability to continue to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities today and in future generations. It is through our collective voice that we influence our elected officials who decide how much will be spent on programs for children and adults in AHRC programs. Your membership is very important in our effort to continue to serve these individuals and their families.

As a member you will receive a complimentary invitation to attend the Annual Membership Luncheon and Fashion Show at AHRC's Brookville mansion held every September.  You will also receive the AHRC Nassau News, the agency's newsletter.  And, if you are a lifetime member, you will receive an AHRC membership pin.
