AHRC Nassau, in partnership with family members, is committed to enriching the lives of people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. For 65 years, AHRC Nassau has been providing an array of services and family supports for more than 2,200 people with special needs throughout Nassau County. AHRC is accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership and is recognized as a COMPASS agency the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Blanche Fierstein Scholarship








Now accepting applications for 2015!

This  $5,000 Scholarship, established in memory of beloved board member Blanche Fierstein, is granted annually to people pursuing an advanced degree in special education. Click here for Details.
