Welcome to AHRC Nassau

AHRC Nassau empowers people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to live self-directed lives and fulfills that promise through family, friends and community. For 65 years, AHRC Nassau has been providing an array of services and family supports for more than 2,200 people with special needs throughout Nassau County. AHRC is accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership and is recognized as a COMPASS agency the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Thank you for your wonderful support of our work on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and our 2015 Humanitarian Award Recipient,  Michael Mascari.  
Through the combined efforts of our loyal supporters, the 65th Annual AHRC Foundation Rose Ball raised $544,000!
