AHRC Nassau welcomes volunteers who have a passion to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of the people we support!

We welcome individuals, retirees, corporate groups, students and service organizations who have a desire to support our work in this meaningful way. We can find you a perfect volunteer fit based on your availability, skills, interests and desired level of commitment.  If you are passionate about music, dance, culinary arts, sports, recreational outings, companionship or helping at a special event or fundraiser, we can personalize your experience so that your time with us will have the greatest impact!

Internships

AHRC Nassau and its family of organizations is happy to work with you and your school to arrange an internship(s) that helps further your education, increase awareness, and enrich the lives of those to whom we support. We will work to find you a placement that fits your school’s requirement as well as providing you with a meaningful and educational experience.  Regardless of your placement you will benefit from being paired with a knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated workforce; ready to provide you with the guidance and oversight needed to ensure your success.
