The One Stop Gift Shop recently welcomed Kristina McCormack to the team.

Kristina attends day services in the Oceanside Program Without Walls (PWW) and dreams of working in retail one day.

“I know I will learn many skills that will prepare me to work in my chosen field.  Working on the computer and with people is important at any job I choose, and I know I will learn this at the One Stop store,” said Kristina.

Kristina has broken out of her shell since starting at the gift shop this past September.

She’s attended pop up sales, socialized with customers, and been an active volunteer for the store.

“We thought the One Stop Gift Shop would be a perfect setting for her to gain some experience and social and communication skills,” said Jillian Cardonas, who connected Kristina with an interview at the One Stop Gift Shop.
