Nassau County Lights Up Seat of Government for NDEAM Month

Nassau County lit up the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in recognition of October’s National Disability Employment Awareness (NDEAM) Month, the week of October 14. During the dome lighting ceremony, messages of support were shared by County Executive Laura Curran, Assistant District Attorney Rene Fiechter, as well as AHRC Executive Director Stanfort Perry and Director of Employment and Business Development Justin Dantzler. Together, AHRC and friends in government are working to create greater awareness about the workforce contributions of people with developmental disabilities.
