“For my whole life I remember my grandparents supporting and enjoying events put on through the AHRC. In 2016 my sisters, my friend Christine and I put together a bowling fundraiser with the guidance of Grandma and the Floral Park Chapter board members. We did it for 2 years, then I had a baby and then the pandemic. Grandma always would ask when we were going to do it again, she knew everyone had such a great time.

Days before her passing, she reminded me to make sure that the bowling fundraiser happened. I promised her I would do one this year. It happens that her birthday lands on a Friday this year, so I thought it fitting to hold it on her 93rd birthday.”

$50 per bowlers includes:
