Join members of AHRC Nassau in a march and celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, Jan. 15 in Glen Cove.

Hosted by the City of Glen Cove and the Glen Cove City School District, 2024 will mark the celebration’s 40th year and the event as the oldest, continuous MLK commemorative march and program in the country.

Make it a day on, not a day off! 

For many AHRC volunteers, this upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. Day will be an opportunity to address food insecurity in our local community through a grant from the Arc of the United States.

• AHRC volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food at the event on 1/15.
• Bring in non-perishable food items to any drop off point by 1/12/24.  Drop off points: AHRC Day Program, AHRC Brookville Lobby, AHRC Plainview Cafeteria, AHRC Freeport Lobby
